Client tracker and booking app for makeup artists

What admin problems do makeup artists have?

The same admin tasks come back every week for makeup artists, and these are the ones LuxeDesk is built to take over.

• A bridal job involves a trial, a wedding day and a party, and the details of each are hard to keep straight.
• Allergies and skin notes must be checked before every session.
• Quotes for bridal parties differ by group size and travel.
• Kit items need to be replaced on a schedule for hygiene.

Which LuxeDesk modules fit makeup artists?

The Bridal & Makeup Artist dashboard has 3 modules for this work: Glam Sessions & Trials, Clients & Face Charts, Sanitized Kit Inventory.

• Glam Sessions & Trials: Calendar for trials and event days with booking requests.
• Clients & Face Charts: Keeps products, shades and skin notes per client.
• Sanitized Kit Inventory: Lists your kit items so you can check them before a job.

What does a typical workflow look like?

A typical client runs from intake to invoice inside one app, so nothing is copied between tools.

• Step 1: Send the makeup client form to collect skin type and allergies.
• Step 2: Book the trial, then the event day, as separate entries on the calendar.
• Step 3: Save the look and product list on the face chart after the trial.
• Step 4: Send an invoice for the trial and one for the event.
• Step 5: Check the kit inventory before busy wedding weekends.

Which free tools help right now?

These free tools need no sign-up or purchase, and you can use them before or without LuxeDesk.

• Makeup artist client form
• Makeup artist invoice template
